Barry Gibb Announced as Co-Headliner for Bluesfest 2017

Yesterday morning, Bluesfest organisers announced another big name will join the 2017 program, with the Bee Gees' Barry Gibbs set to headline the Easter Monday night of the festival.
The UK-born, Brisbane-raised music icon is the last surviving member of the acclaimed pop group, with the other two founding members, his brothers — Maurice and Robin — both passing away in 2003 and 2012 respectably. He's expected to pay tribute to the group's celebrated, chart-topping discography at the headline show, along with tracks from his recently released new solo album In The Now, a record written in partnership with his own two sons Stephen and Ashley.
The weekend's announcement follows hot on the heels of last week's reveal that Neil Young would be performing at the Easter long-weekend festival with his Promise of the Real band, joining the already confirmed list of Santana, Mary J Blige, Patti Smith, Zac Brown Band, Buddy Guy, The Lumineers, Billy Bragg and many more.
Tickets for the Easter long weekend festival and full line-up available at the festival's official website.
