Watch The Bennies' New Vintage Video-Game Inspired Clip for 'Burnout City'

Self-described as "Psychedelic Reggae Ska Doom Metal Punk Rock From Hell," Melbourners, The Bennies, have released a new video for "Burnout City," from their latest album Wisdom Machine

While the ska-infused track might suggest a sidelining of the band's usual wild antics, the accompanying clip showcases anything but. A wizard-clad man, introducing himself as 'the ultimate dealer', leads the narrative, offering up a spliff-spun take on the blue/red Matrix ultimatum. The far more desirable latter option leads the members down a hedonistic rabbit hole, morphing them into various yesteryear video-game characters and adding some excitement to their afternoon trek through the suburban town.

After already touring Australia once before heading off to Europe and the UK, The Bennies are currently on the second national lap of their Wisdom Machine Tour. It's the band's most expansive run of dates yet, with still 15 shows left on the itinerary, spanning New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland and Western Australia. Dates and details, including info on their just-announced second Darwin show, available here.
